The Schaubmar Mill belongs to the technical and cultural monuments. Originally, it was one of the largest brook mills in Europe, built during the Baroque period (1767). There is functioning engine equipment of cylidrical type from 1913 in the mill. The SNG bought building from the Schaubmar family in 1973 and opened a specialized branch here – the Gallery of Naïve Art. An exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Slovak and foreign naive artists may be viewed here. In addition, there are as well temporary exhibitions on display.
